Fildelity Bank Plc on Wednesday announced N25.08billion profit before tax in its half year ended June 30, 2022 audited results, a 21.57 per cent rise from N20.63 billion reported in half year ended June 30, 2021.

The result and accounts on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) also showed 20.71 per cent increase in profit after tax to N23.31billion in H1 2022 from N19.31billion reported in H1 2021.

With an increase in profits, the management of Fidelity bank proposed N0.10 interim dividend payout to shareholders who invested in the bank’s stock on the NGX.

In addition to the profit & loss figures, the bank reported 37.88 per cent increase in gross revenue to N154.84billion in H1 2022 from N122.30 billion reported in H1 2021.

From balance sheet position, the bank reported 18.71 per cent increase in total assets to N3.69trillion as of June 30, 2022 from N3.11trillion reported in full year ended December 31, 2021.
