The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has commended Governor Uba Sani for fostering unity and peace in Kaduna State, noting that his leadership has bridged the long-standing divide of religion and ethnicity.
Speaking in Kaduna on Sunday, Yilwatda praised the governor for transforming the state’s image from one previously associated with insecurity to a model of inclusiveness and development.
“Your Excellency, Kaduna was once known for insecurity and division, but under your leadership, that narrative has changed,” Yilwatda stated.
He further highlighted that under Governor Sani’s administration, churches and mosques now coexist harmoniously, symbolizing a new era of mutual respect and unity among residents.
“You have eliminated the barriers of religion and tribalism, giving every citizen of Kaduna State a voice,” he said. “Today, mosques and churches stand as equals — you have brought everyone together under one vision. This is the kind of leadership Nigeria needs.”
The APC chairman also applauded the governor’s achievements in infrastructure, governance, and party unity, describing him as a leader who has “used the broom of the APC to sweep away insecurity and division.”
He called on other leaders across the country to emulate Governor Uba Sani’s inclusive governance model, which he said promotes peace, equality, and development.
