Fulham are stepping up plans to sign Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze on a permanent deal following his strong performances since joining the club on loan from AC Milan.
The winger arrived at Craven Cottage on a season-long loan from the Serie A side last summer and has since become an important part of Marco Silva’s squad.
His performances have reportedly convinced the Fulham manager to push for a permanent transfer, with the club now keen to retain him beyond the current loan spell.
Reports from Gazzetta dello Sport suggest Fulham are preparing a €24 million bid to trigger the purchase option included in his contract.
Chukwueze has contributed three goals and four assists in 17 league appearances for the Premier League side this season, further boosting his value within the team setup.
He still has two years remaining on his contract arrangement involving Fulham, but discussions are expected to intensify ahead of the next transfer window.
