Under the chairmanship of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Olukayode Ariwoola, the event occurred at the National Judicial Institute (NJI) in Abuja.
Fagbemi, through his media aide, Kamarudeen Ogundele, criticized instances where private individuals attempted to derail government procurement processes or other governmental procedures by seeking spurious injunctions through the courts
Highlighting the constitutional principle of separation of powers, Fagbemi stressed the importance of each arm of government adhering to its designated functions to prevent arbitrary abuses of power.
He underscored the significance of an independent and efficient court system in upholding the rule of law, cautioning that any failure on the part of the judiciary could lead to chaos and disorder
