Forgery, Age Falsification, and Service Manipulation

This revelation comes after SaharaReporters earlier reported a large-scale investigation into police officers engaged in document forgery, age falsification, and other forms of service record tampering. Many of these officers quietly retired in an attempt to avoid public scrutiny, while others remained in service until this crackdown.

The Nigerian Police Force is yet to issue an official statement regarding the matter, but sources suggest disciplinary measures, dismissals, and further retirements could follow in the coming weeks.

This latest purge is expected to restore integrity within the force and serve as a warning to officers attempting to manipulate service regulations.
