EPL: Salah Holds Crucial Talks With Slot as Tension Grows Over Liverpool Future

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has reportedly held decisive talks with Mohamed Salah on Friday morning amid growing uncertainty surrounding the forward’s future at Anfield.
Salah was left out of Liverpool’s Champions League clash against Inter Milan earlier in the week, shortly after granting a heated interview in which he criticised the club’s hierarchy.
In the interview, the Egyptian star claimed he had been “thrown under the bus” and said he had “no relationship” with Slot, sparking widespread speculation that this weekend’s Premier League match against Brighton could be his final appearance for the club.
Speaking on Friday, Slot confirmed a meeting had taken place, saying:
“I will have a conversation with Mo this morning and the outcome of that conversation determines how it will look tomorrow.
I have no reason not wanting him to stay, if that answers anything.”
The talks are expected to play a key role in determining Salah’s immediate future and whether he remains part of Liverpool’s plans going forward.
