EPL: Carragher Explains Why Man United Haven’t Fired Ruben Amorim Despite Poor Run

Story:
Former Liverpool star Jamie Carragher has revealed why Manchester United are yet to part ways with under-fire manager Ruben Amorim, despite the club’s disappointing form in the Premier League.
Speaking on Monday Night Football, Carragher argued that the Old Trafford hierarchy is reluctant to sack Amorim because it would expose the series of poor decisions they have already made in recent years.
United’s 3-1 defeat to Brentford at the weekend left them sitting 14th in the table, with Amorim managing just 34 points from 33 games since taking charge.
“I think he’s still in the job because the powers that be at Manchester United have made so many mistakes already,” Carragher said.
“With the decisions they’ve made on and off the pitch, they don’t want to admit they’ve made yet another one.”
Amorim will be under pressure to deliver a response when United host Sunderland this weekend, with fans demanding an urgent turnaround.
