#EndBadGovernance Protesters Gather At Abuja Stadium, Kick Off Demonstration Under Heavy Security

The stadium is heavily guarded by armed security personnel, who are present to maintain order and enforce the court’s restrictions.

#EndBadGovernance protesters on Thursday converged on the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja to kick off the 10-day demonstration against hardship, poor governance among others.

In accordance with a court order limiting their activities to the designated venue, protesters assembled at the facility as early as 6 am, singing solidarity songs.

The stadium is heavily guarded by armed security personnel, who are present to maintain order and enforce the court’s restrictions.

Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore in a post on Thursday morning, said, “Abuja has commenced the struggle #EndBadGovernace #RevolutionNow.”

Meanwhile, in Rivers State, protesters have begun gathering in front of the popular Port Harcourt Pleasure Park, preparing to launch their demonstration. The crowd is seen waving Nigerian flags and holding banners and placards, indicating their readiness to express their grievances
