Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholor has confidently asserted that President Bola Tinubu will secure victory in Edo State during the 2027 presidential election.

In a statement captured in a viral video, the governor declared that he would resign from office if Tinubu does not win in the state.

Okpebholor highlighted that the people of Edo are firmly backing the president, citing the numerous projects his administration has implemented since the All Progressives Congress (APC) assumed power in the state.

He insisted that there is no significant opposition in Edo, emphasizing widespread support for the ruling party ahead of the polls.

He stated, “There is no opposition here in Edo, everybody is for Asiwaju. Tinubu is more popular than me in Edo State. If he doesn’t win the presidential election in 2027, I will resign.”
