Eberechi Eze has reassured fans that he remains uninjured following Arsenal FC’s 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League round of 16, keeping the Gunners’ quadruple hopes alive.

Eze opened the scoring at the Emirates Stadium, curling a shot into the top corner after a deft turn on the edge of the box. Although he exited the match in the 69th minute holding his ankle, the winger confirmed after full-time: “Yeah, I’m alright, I’ll be ok!”

Arsenal’s victory sealed a 3-1 aggregate triumph and sets up a quarter-final clash against Sporting Lisbon. Should they progress, the Gunners could face one of Newcastle United, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, or Tottenham Hotspur in the semi-finals.

Arsenal’s domestic form also supports their quadruple bid. The team leads the Premier League by nine points over Manchester City and will contest the EFL Cup final against City on Sunday. In addition, they are through to the FA Cup quarter-finals against Southampton FC.

Manager Mikel Arteta will rely on the pace and creativity of stars like Gabriel Martinelli to navigate Europe’s premier competition, with Arsenal now among the favourites to reach the Champions League final.
