The exchange rate between the Naira and the US dollar according to the data posted on the FMDQ Security Exchange where forex is officially traded showed that the naira opened at 430.63 NGN per dollar on, 14 November 2022, after it closed at N430.01 14 November 2022. This represents a change of 0.2%.

According to abokiFX.com, the local currency opened at N670.00 per $1 at the parallel market otherwise known as the black market, today, 14 November 2022, in Lagos Nigeria after it closed N670.00 per $1 on 14 November 2022. This represents a change of $0.05 from the previous day.

The Witness Nigeria reports that the data published on abokiFX.com, which is known as the “official black market rate“, showed that at the black market, the players buy a dollar for N800 and sell for N800 this morning, 14 November 2022.
