Delta State Police Nab 44-Year-Old Alleged Drug Trafficker, Seize Multiple Sacks of Suspected Cannabis

In a swift operation on December 18, 2025, the Delta State Police Command apprehended a 44-year-old man accused of drug dealing in Sapele.
The arrest occurred around 8:05 a.m. in the Gana neighborhood when operatives from the CP-Special Assignment Team (CP-SAT), under the command of ASP Julius Robinson, acted on reliable intelligence and raided a residential property.
During the raid, authorities discovered and confiscated eight large bags containing substances believed to be Indian hemp.
The suspect, identified as Felix Africa, reportedly confessed to owning the seized items and admitted to regularly trading in Indian hemp and other prohibited narcotics.
Delta State Police spokesperson SP Bright Edafe confirmed the details in a statement issued on Friday, adding that the investigation remains active.
