Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has moved fans worldwide after honouring his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, with a deeply personal tribute during his white wedding to Chioma Rowland in Miami, United States.

The global music icon wore custom-made cufflinks engraved with Ifeanyi’s image, a touching gesture that underscored the emotional significance of the day. Davido shared a photo of the unique accessory on his Instagram story, sparking heartfelt reactions from fans and well-wishers.

The Miami wedding, held in grand style, came after the couple’s traditional ceremony in 2024 and attracted top figures from Nigeria’s business, political, and entertainment circles. The star-studded guest list included Adekunle Gold, Teni, and Zlatan Ibile, who were also present at the glamorous pre-wedding dinner.

Speaking about the extravagance of the occasion, Davido revealed that the ceremony cost an eye-watering $3.7 million.

“We spent $3.7m in cash. You should know what we are doing. It’s crazy,” he said.

The lavish celebration not only marked a milestone in Davido and Chioma’s love story but also served as a poignant moment of remembrance for the son they tragically lost in 2022.
