Daddy Freeze Joins The Honest Bunch Podcast as Nedu’s Replacement Amid Scandal

The announcement was made on Sunday night via the podcast’s official Instagram handle, where a new promotional poster revealed Daddy Freeze as the latest co-host alongside the existing crew.
“The Honest Bunch podcast just got more unfiltered. Get ready for hotter takes, deeper convos, and unapologetic honesty. Say hello to our latest addition @daddyfreeze,” the post read.
Daddy Freeze also confirmed the development by sharing the same poster on his own Instagram page with the caption: “A New Era Has Begun.”
Nedu’s Exit Linked to Controversy
This major shake-up comes four months after Nedu Wazobia resigned from his role on the podcast following a wave of backlash over allegations of sexual misconduct.
The controversy was ignited after Big Brother Naija star DeeOne appeared on the show and accused popular social commentator VeryDarkMan of being gay. In response, VeryDarkMan fired back with explosive claims, accusing Nedu of exploiting female guests, alleging he had used the podcast platform to sleep with aspiring entertainers in exchange for giving them exposure.
VeryDarkMan even threatened to expose a list of names Nedu allegedly confessed to being involved with in the entertainment industry.
In a press conference held shortly after his exit, Nedu denied the allegations and said he stood by his decision to feature DeeOne on the podcast.
“I have no regrets about the guests I brought on the show. I did what I believed was in the best interest of open conversation,” Nedu stated.
