Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson is reportedly on the verge of leaving Stamford Bridge following the club’s decision to sanction Noni Madueke’s move to Premier League rivals Arsenal.
According to top football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Jackson could be the next Chelsea forward to seek a new opportunity elsewhere. Italian giants AC Milan have shown interest and already made an inquiry, though Chelsea’s valuation remains a stumbling block.
In addition to AC Milan, several Premier League clubs have been alerted to Jackson’s availability and are assessing a potential move for the former Villarreal star.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have made it clear they have no intention of selling promising England U18 midfielder Ethan Nwaneri to Chelsea. Despite reported interest from the Blues and several Bundesliga sides, The Guardian reports that the Gunners are confident Nwaneri will sign a long-term deal to stay at the Emirates Stadium.
Speculation over Nwaneri’s future intensified after he was allowed to explore discussions with other clubs in January. However, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is optimistic the teenage talent will remain loyal to the North London club
