Carragher Slams Salah Over Comments on Slot, Accuses Him of Trying to Get Manager Sacked

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has criticized winger Mohamed Salah for his “disgraceful” remarks about manager Arne Slot and the club.
Carragher suggested that the Egyptian star’s recent statements were part of an effort to undermine Slot and push for his dismissal.
The comments came in response to Salah’s explosive interview following Liverpool’s 3-3 draw with Leeds United, in which he claimed the club had “thrown him under the bus.”
Speaking on Sky Sports, Carragher said:
“It was a disgrace what Salah did. When he stops in a mixed zone, it’s choreographed with his agent to cause maximum damage and strengthen his position. He chose this weekend… he’s chosen this time to go for the manager and get him sacked.”
In response to the controversy, Slot dropped Salah from Liverpool’s squad for Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League clash against Inter Milan, citing the winger’s comments as the reason.
