BREAKING: President Tinubu Departs Abuja for Two-Week UK Vacation, Amid Rising Public Concerns

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today (Wednesday) for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave.

In a statement released by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy, the President is expected to “use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.” Onanuga further stated that Tinubu would return to Nigeria after the leave expires.

This trip comes just two weeks after President Tinubu returned to Abuja on Sunday, September 15, following an official visit to China and a brief stay in the UK. The President had originally
