A disturbing video has emerged showing the moment Shamsideen Adio, widely known as “Shamelon” and identified as a member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) on Lagos Island, violently pushed aside a woman who attempted to intervene in his brutal assault on a dispatch rider.
Eyewitnesses reported that the woman was flung into the path of an oncoming motorcycle after being shoved, sparking chaos among onlookers. Bystanders quickly rushed to her aid while Shamelon and his associates continued to pummel the rider without restraint.
Residents of the area described Shamelon as “feared and notorious for unleashing violence on innocent people.” The incident, now captured on video, has fueled widespread outrage on social media, with many Nigerians demanding his immediate arrest and prosecution.
