Billboard Ranks 2Face’s ‘African Queen’ No.1 on Best Afrobeats Songs of All-Time List

Legendary Nigerian singer 2Face Idibia (2Baba) has made history as his timeless hit ‘African Queen’ has been ranked the No. 1 Best Afrobeats Song of All-Time by American music magazine, Billboard.
The highly anticipated list, titled “Billboard’s Top 50 Best Afrobeats Songs of All-Time,” was released this week and celebrates the greatest Afrobeats records that have shaped the genre’s global dominance.
While 2Face’s ‘African Queen’ took the top spot, Wizkid made a landmark achievement as the only artist with two songs in the top 10, with ‘Ojuelegba’ at No. 2 and the global smash ‘Essence’ (feat. Tems) at No. 5.
Other songs in the top five include Flavour’s ‘Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix)’ at No. 3 and Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ at No. 4.
