Armed Attackers Murder Suleja Divisional Crime Officer in Night Raid

Tragedy struck in Suleja, Niger State, as Superintendent of Police (SP) Ayuba Micah, the Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) of “A” Division, was shot dead during a violent home invasion.

Reports indicate that the incident happened at about 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, when three armed men broke into his residence in the Behind Sandoco area of Suleja.

Security sources disclosed that the assailants overpowered the officer and opened fire, killing him on the spot before fleeing the scene.

The killing of SP Micah has thrown the Suleja community and the Niger State Police Command into mourning, sparking calls for immediate action to apprehend the attackers.

Investigations are said to be ongoing as security operatives intensify efforts to track down the perpetrators of the deadly attack.
