The Director-General of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), Folorunso Aluko, has expressed optimism that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will expand its control to at least 30 states before the end of 2027.
Aluko made the declaration on Thursday during the PGF Quarterly Strategy Meeting of Information Commissioners from APC-governed states, held in Maiduguri, Borno State.
He noted that the APC remains strategically positioned to strengthen its dominance across Nigeria, adding that ongoing efforts to align state policies with the federal government’s development vision would further consolidate the party’s influence.
“By the grace of God and the will of Nigerians, we are confident that the Progressive Governors Forum will grow from today’s 24 states to at least 30 states before the end of 2027,” Aluko stated.
He emphasized the need for unity, integrity, and measurable impact in governance, urging APC-led states to speak with one voice and deliver on the administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.
“We are reinforcing our strategic posture and ensuring that every message we communicate translates into visible progress. As we look toward 2027, our conviction remains unshaken — the APC will only grow stronger,” he added.
