Afrobeats Star Davido Set to Headline AFCON 2025 Opening Concert in Rabat

Nigerian music sensation Davido is among the top acts scheduled to perform at the official opening concert for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The event will also feature international artists including French Montana, Douaa Lahyaoui, Says’z, and Lartiste.
The concert is slated for Saturday at the Olm Souissi Fan Zone in Rabat, Morocco, and will be accessible to fans holding valid Fan IDs and match tickets.
This marks another major sports-related performance for Davido, who previously took the stage at the 2017 AFCON opening ceremony, the 2022 FIFA World Cup draw in Doha, and the 2023 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) awards.
The 2025 AFCON tournament kicks off the same day with the host nation Morocco facing Comoros in the opening match at Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah in Rabat.
