AFCON 2025: Sunday Results and Monday Fixtures

The results of Sunday’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) matches have been confirmed.
In Group F, defending champions Ivory Coast played a 1-1 draw against Cameroon, with goals from Amad Diallo and an own goal by Ghislain Konan. Mozambique also claimed a 3-2 victory over Gabon, moving to third place in the group with three points.
In Group E, Algeria edged Burkina Faso 1-0 thanks to a first-half penalty from Riyad Mahrez, while Sudan secured a 1-0 win over Equatorial Guinea.
Match-day three fixtures continue on Monday. South Africa will take on Zimbabwe in the evening, followed by Angola facing Egypt. Zambia will challenge host nation Morocco later in the night, and Comoros will meet Mali at Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca.
