The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Cameroonian match officials for Nigeria’s Round of 16 showdown against Mozambique at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Abdou Abdel Mefir will serve as the centre referee for the highly anticipated fixture, with Elvis Noupoue and Carine Atezambong assigned as assistant referees.
The match is scheduled to take place on Monday at the Complexe Sportif de Fès, with a kick-off time of 8:00 pm Nigerian time.
This will be the second AFCON encounter between Nigeria and Mozambique. The Super Eagles won their previous meeting 3-0 during the 2010 tournament in Angola.
