Ademola Lookman Reportedly Keen on Galatasaray Move, Inspired by Fans’ Love for Osimhen

Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman is reportedly interested in joining Turkish giants Galatasaray, inspired by the passionate support shown to fellow Nigerian star Victor Osimhen by the club’s fans.

According to Turkish journalist Ferhat Kızıltaş, who shared updates on the potential transfer, Lookman has been following Galatasaray closely and admires the warm reception and love Osimhen received during his visit to the club.

The Nigerian international has been linked with a possible move to the Turkish Super Lig champions ahead of the January 2026 transfer window.

Kızıltaş told Habersarikirmizi, “If Galatasaray makes an official offer to Lookman during the mid-season break, there’s a strong chance the deal could be finalized. Lookman watches Galatasaray games and is very impressed by the fans’ love for Osimhen. He wants to experience that atmosphere.”

Lookman, who plays a crucial role for Atalanta, is currently with the Super Eagles as they prepare for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff against Gabon on Thursday
