John Nwosu, the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the November 8 Anambra State election, has strongly criticized Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration, asserting that the incumbent has failed to deliver meaningful progress to the state.

Speaking on Monday during an interview on Arise Television’s Prime Time, Nwosu argued that the past four years under Soludo have fallen short of public expectations.

He emphasized that insecurity remains a major concern, noting that several communities have suffered from persistent kidnappings and violent attacks.

“Insecurity has worsened over the last three and a half years. Many lives have been lost through rampant kidnappings,” Nwosu said.

The ADC candidate cited Ihiala Local Government Area as a particularly affected region, explaining that residents have abandoned their ancestral homes due to fear. According to him, families now host significant events such as weddings and burials outside the community to avoid security threats.

Nwosu maintained that the current administration must be held accountable for the state of affairs and urged voters to consider an alternative leadership committed to restoring safety and development.
