By SpringsNewsNG – March 8, 2025
Access Bank has announced another round of system maintenance, set to take place on Saturday, March 8, and Sunday, March 9, 2025. The bank, in a statement posted on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, informed customers that the scheduled upgrade would temporarily disrupt its digital banking services.
According to the bank, the affected services include:
- AccessMore app
- Primus Plus
- Internet banking
- Point-of-sale (POS) transactions
- Debit card transactions
The maintenance will occur in two phases:
- Saturday, March 8, from 2:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m.
- Sunday, March 9, from 2:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m.
In an email to customers, the bank reassured users that the upgrade was necessary to enhance system efficiency.
Official Statement:
“Dear Valued Customer, to enhance the functionality of our systems and ensure we continue to serve you better, we will be conducting scheduled system maintenance on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 2:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. and Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 2:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. During this period, our digital channels, including debit cards, the AccessMore app, Primus Plus, Internet Banking, and POS services, may be temporarily unavailable. We are sorry for the inconvenience and truly appreciate your patience and trust.”
This announcement comes just weeks after Access Bank carried out a two-day system upgrade in February, which lasted for three days instead. The bank has, however, assured customers that these upgrades are aimed at providing a smoother and more efficient banking experience.
