“This Case Will Destroy Trust in Lagos Justice System” — VDM Calls on Lagos Attorney-General to Intervene in Ahmed Tajudeen Akanbi Case
Social commentator VeryDarkMan has called on the Lagos State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr Lawal Pedro, to intervene in the ongoing case involving Ahmed Tajudeen Akanbi, who is facing allegations connected to the deaths of Sheriff Ishola Salami and Prince Kazeem Ademola Akinloye.
VeryDarkMan raised concerns over what he described as new evidence in the case, alleging that the developments have raised questions about the handling of the matter by the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
He urged the Lagos State Attorney-General to personally investigate the circumstances surrounding the case and ensure that due process and justice are upheld.
According to VeryDarkMan, failure to properly address the concerns surrounding the case could have serious implications for public confidence in the Lagos State justice system.
“This case will destroy trust in the Lagos justice system,” he warned, while calling on the Attorney-General to intervene and provide clarity on the issues surrounding the prosecution.
The allegations have generated public interest, with calls for transparency and a thorough review of the evidence and legal processes involved.
The case remains subject to judicial proceedings, and the allegations against Akanbi have yet to be finally determined by a court.
