Queen Elizabeth II dies aged 96

Queen Elizabeth II has died at the age of 96 after being under medical supervision since Thursday. In a brief statement, Buckingham Palace confirmed that she died peacefully at her Balmoral residence.
Elizabeth II was born on April 21, 1926 in London and was crowned Queen on June 2, 1953. Since then, she has represented the United Kingdom all over the world.
Her British monarch is the second longest-reigning monarch in history after being Queen for more than 70 years. Only King Louis 14 surpassed Elizabeth II having reigned for more than 72 years
The Queen married Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark in 1947 and they had four children: Charles, Anne, Andrew and Edward
Prince Charles will now officially become King of Great Britain. He is scheduled to make a speech to the nation in which he will address the death, all before being proclaimed King.
