The Super Eagles of Nigeria will hold their first and only training session in Bloemfontein on Monday night ahead of Tuesday’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.

According to the team’s media officer, Promise Efoghe, the session will take place at the Toyota Stadium at 6 p.m. Nigerian time, with the first 15 minutes open to journalists and fans.

The Nigerian delegation touched down in Bloemfontein at about 6:25 p.m. local time on Sunday, with 22 players making the trip.

Star striker Victor Osimhen was ruled out of the squad after sustaining an injury in Nigeria’s narrow 1-0 win over Rwanda last Saturday.

The highly anticipated clash between Bafana Bafana and the Super Eagles is scheduled for Tuesday at the Toyota Stadium, where both teams will be seeking a vital win in their World Cup qualification campaign.
