FIFA has commenced the second phase of ticket sales for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, releasing more than one million additional tickets as excitement intensifies for the landmark event across North America.

The new purchasing window began on Monday and will continue through Friday, offering an exclusive period dedicated to residents of the three host nations: the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Supporters selected through the ballot system will gain priority access to individual match tickets within their respective countries.

FIFA’s Chief Operating Officer for the 2026 tournament, Heimo Schirgi, confirmed that the global demand for tickets remains extraordinarily high. He emphasized that the limited host-nation access period demonstrates appreciation for local fans while maintaining equitable opportunities for international supporters.

Residents in the host countries have until Friday to register for the draw. Successful applicants will be granted a special purchasing window from November 12 to 15. A broader international ticket sale will follow beginning November 17, with additional rounds scheduled to continue in 2025.
