A total of 34 countries have now booked their places for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Germany and the Netherlands being the latest to qualify.
Germany sealed their spot with an emphatic 6-0 victory over Slovakia at the Red Bull Arena, while the Netherlands cruised past Lithuania 4-0 to confirm their participation in next year’s tournament.
The 2026 edition will feature 48 teams, up from 32 in Qatar 2022, making it the largest World Cup in history.
